25th Sunday of Year C
EWTN (20:25) - Bishop Oscar Solless of the Dascese of Salt Lake City where the assassination took place said in a statement, quote, "It seems that our society has lost the sense of the sanctity of life and I pray that our government will undertake appropriate measures to stop these horrible crimes." (September 11, 1025)
For those whose hearts are hardened by anger and hatred, and for all who promote violence as a solution to disagreement, that God’s grace working through the Church and its leaders may bring about a conversion of heart towards compassion and understanding.
High above all nations is the LORD;
above the heavens is his glory.
Who is like the LORD, our God,
who is enthroned on high
and looks upon the heavens
and the earth below?
