Special Needs
29th Sunday of Year C
BISHOP ROBERT BARRON (16:48) - Friends, in the wake of recent political assassinations, school shootings, and violent crime, we face a difficult time in our country’s life—a consequence, I believe, of a loss of faith in God. During Minnesota’s annual Red Mass, I shared with lawyers and politicians the importance of their work in preserving public discourse—the key to upholding human dignity, the objectivity of truth, and the healing of our nation.
We pray for the grace to engage in open dialogue and seek understanding, even when confronted with differing perspectives. We pray for the wisdom to uphold the moral and spiritual purpose of law in our society. May it guide us in fostering a community that values life, truth, and justice, where spirited conversation can thrive.
Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones
who call out to him day and night?
Will he be slow to answer them?
I tell you, he will see to it
that justice is done for them speedily.

ASCENSION PRESENTS (10:27) - Fr. Mike breaks down the historical origins of the rosary as well as the logic that the saints who went before us used to organize the rosary as we know it today.
In this Month of the Holy Rosary, we pray for the wisdom to apply Scripture's teachings to the challenges and opportunities our parish community faces. May the Word of God foster unity, understanding, and mutual support among our members.
All Scripture is inspired by God
and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction,
and for training in righteousness,
so that one who belongs to God may be competent,
equipped for every good work.
