The Church

We pray for Pope Leo and all who serve in the church’s diplomatic corps, that in today’s turbulent world they will be effective agents of peace, reconciliation and human solidarity. (Pause) Let us pray to the Lord.

We pray for all who preside at the Lord’s table and those who serve as liturgical ministers, that they will enable the whole community to celebrate a eucharist of mercy and mission. (Pause) Let us pray to the Lord.

Healing in the Aftermath:

Loving God, as the early Church fervently prayed for Peter's release from prison, we implore you to bring healing to the Middle East following the U.S. strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. Grant comfort and strength to those affected by the conflict. We pray to the Lord.

Protection of the Innocent:

Heavenly Father, shield the innocent civilians, especially children, from harm amidst the turmoil in the Middle East. May they find refuge and protection under your care, as you delivered Peter from danger. We pray to the Lord.
