POPE LEO XIV (8:16) - Pope Leo XIV lifts his voice in a powerful and heartfelt prayer of gratitude to the Almighty. His words, filled with reverence, praise, and unwavering trust in God’s sovereignty, remind us of one eternal truth: God is faithful—even in the storm.
May we give thanks to you, O Lord, with all our hearts. Inspired by today's Responsorial Psalm, may we join together with Pope Leo in praising your name, as we lift our voices like the sounding cymbals, strings, and pipe, to glorify your sovereign majesty.
I will give thanks to you, O LORD, with all my heart,
for you have heard the words of my mouth;
in the presence of the angels I will sing your praise;
I will worship at your holy temple
and give thanks to your name.

SANCTUS (4:20) - Catholic prayer for protection over the innocent victims of war.
Merciful God, as Abraham interceded for the innocent, we ask for compassion for those affected by violence in Ukraine and the Middle East. Inspire acts of kindness and support amidst the devastation.
Then Abraham drew nearer and said:
"Will you sweep away the innocent with the guilty?
Suppose there were fifty innocent people in the city;
would you wipe out the place, rather than spare it
for the sake of the fifty innocent people within it?

ECHOES AND LEGENDS (3:39) - Tears of the Innocent is a heartfelt prayer for the children and families devastated by war in Iran, Israel, and beyond. This song lifts the sorrow of the fatherless and homeless to God, pleading for His mercy, peace, and protection. May their tears move our hearts to intercede and act. (June 21, 2025)
Lord, hear the tears of the innocent. Gather them close in your mercies embrace and heal the wounds of the innocent.
What father among you
would hand his son a snake
when he asks for a fish?
Or hand him a scorpion
when he asks for an egg?

CATHOLIC MASS SONG (1:52)
Loving Father, instill in us the desire to pray the Lord's Prayer each day, as Jesus taught his disciples. May this prayer strengthen our faith and bring us closer to you and your will for our lives.
When you pray, say:
Father, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread
and forgive us our sins
for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us,
and do not subject us to the final test.
