1st Reading – Isaiah 25:6-10a

On the mountain of the Lord there will be a feast with rich food and choice wines. There will be no sorrow, only joy, for the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain.

Psalm – 23:1-6

“I shall live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” Psalm 23 is always popular, but note the table that God sets before us!

2nd Reading – Philippians 4:12-14,19-20

Whether in abundance or need, all things are possible with Christ who strengthens us. We call upon the Lord, trusting that God will supply all our needs.

Gospel – Matthew 22:1-14

Jesus offers a parable where the Kingdom of Heaven is likened to a wedding feast. Many are invited, but not all accept the invitation or come prepared.
