1st Reading – Is 5:1-7
The prophet uses the example of a vineyard for the house of Israel, citing the planning, work, and preparation that are necessary to make it happen. When the vineyard does not produce fruitful grapes, it becomes a ruin that is overgrown with thorns and briars.2nd Reading – Phil 4:6-9
Have no anxiety, but rather make all prayers and petitions to God with thanksgiving. Keep doing all things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, excellent, and praiseworthy!Gospel – Mt 21:33-43
