John 2:13-25
1. How do you think the Greeks felt about wanting to see Jesus in this passage?
ANSWER: The Greeks may have felt intrigued or curious about Jesus, much like how we might feel drawn to seek something more meaningful in our lives.
2. Can you relate to feeling curious or seeking something deeper in your own life right now?
ANSWER: It’s normal to have questions and seek deeper meaning, especially during times of joy, anxiety, or struggle in our daily lives.
3. In what ways do you think Jesus’ response to the Greeks applies to our own struggles and anxieties?
ANSWER: Jesus’ response reminds us that by surrendering our fears, worries, and desires to Him, we can find peace and purpose in the midst of our struggles and anxieties.
4. How can we apply the concept of dying to self and following Jesus in our daily lives as teenagers?
ANSWER: Dying to self means letting go of our own selfish desires and choosing to follow Jesus’ example of love, service, and sacrifice in our interactions with others.
5. What do you think it means for us to bear fruit in our lives as followers of Jesus?
ANSWER: Bearing fruit as teenagers can mean showing kindness, patience, and compassion towards others, and allowing our actions to reflect the love and grace of Jesus in our everyday lives.

The seven signs are:
1. Changing water into wine at the wedding feast of Cana (John 2:1–11)
2. Healing of the royal official’s son in Capernaum (John 4:46–54)
3. Healing the paralytic at Bethesda (John 5:1–15)
4. Feeding the 5,000 (John 5:5–14)
5. Jesus walking on water (John 6:16–24)
6. Healing the man born blind (John 9:1–7)
7. Raising of Lazarus (John 11:1–45)
Each of these miracles increasingly reveal Jesus Christ’s divinity culminating with the raising of Lazarus. Each sign includes various themes that connect to the common symbolism found within the gospel. The raising of Lazarus leads to the death of Jesus. The Pharisees gather and decide to put Jesus to death. In the next phase of the gospel, Jesus enters into Jerusalem and prepares his followers for his death. This section of the Gospel of John is sometimes referred to as the Book of Glory (or Exaltation) because of Jesus’s teachings about the Death and Resurrection and love of the Father.
