The World
On Tuesday of this week as we celebrate International Earth Day (April 22), we thank you Lord for the many blessings of our planet and ask for your guidance to protect and care for it. Please help us to be good stewards of the Earth by making choices that protect the land, water, and air.

Special Needs
Earlier in Easter's "Victimæ paschali laudes," we praised the triumph of your Son, Jesus Christ: For those facing physical challenges, that they may know the strength and perseverance of Christ. May they experience the transformative power of Christ's resurrection in their lives.
Pilate addressed them a third time,
"What evil has this man done?
I found him guilty of no capital crime.
Therefore I shall have him flogged and then release him."
With loud shouts, however,
they persisted in calling for his crucifixion,
and their voices prevailed.
